Signals & triage
Logs, metrics, support tickets, user feedback, security scans. Which inputs are automated, and do they stop at triage or reach merged code?
AI SDLC consulting · Sydney & Australia-wide
Coding agents made writing code the cheap part of software. The bottlenecks moved to triage, review, verification and release. We audit your AI SDLC and fix what surrounds the agent.
Seen from behind, a person works at the middle of three monitors, framed from the waist up. The outer monitors angle towards them. The left shows a team chat, the middle a coding editor, and the right a browser with charts. Six agent icons gently hover in an arc above the desk, blinking independently as a soft light passes across them while they work. Small pulses connect the agents to the person and to one another. They finish one at a time: the finished agent comes forward with a prominent speech bubble explaining its result, and the person turns their head towards it.
What we do
Our own custom AI SDLC audit was built from the ground up, based on 3 years experience immersed in improving SDLCs for Atlassian customers by understanding their bottlenecks and building enterprise grade AI solutions. We provide a full audit of how AI flows through your development lifecycle. Every input, every hand-off, every human checkpoint. You get a prioritised plan for what to automate, what to fix and what to leave alone.
The software development lifecycle
One lifecycle. AI at every stage.
Logs, metrics, support tickets, user feedback, security scans. Which inputs are automated, and do they stop at triage or reach merged code?
PRDs with user stories, acceptance criteria and success metrics that are actually instrumented, so agents start from something buildable.
AI code review, auto-merge workflows, agents that read CI failures and fix them. Is review still your bottleneck?
Unit, integration and e2e tests, coding standards, AGENTS.md. What checks the agent's work before a human sees it?
Docs and release notes, monitoring, alerting, rollback, stakeholder comms, and what percentage of changes you're feature-flagging.
What you're paying for AI tools, whether you're measuring the return, and whether you're measuring the right things to find the real bottleneck.
Why us
Most AI consultants install tools other people built. We spent three years leading the teams that build them.
How we work
Start with the call. Everything after that has a defined scope before it begins, and each step produces something useful whether or not we keep working together.
Thirty minutes on your SDLC and where the friction is. You'll leave with at least one idea you can use, whether or not we work together.
The audit above, applied to your org: every stage reviewed, bottlenecks found, and a prioritised roadmap for what to automate next.
Optional: we help you put the roadmap in place. Agent workflows, verification, guardrails and the enablement to make it stick.
A note from the founder

I'm Matt Colman. For the last three years I led the Atlassian teams behind Rovo Dev CLI and the Jira Coding Agent, building AI workflows that hand repetitive work to agents across a 5,000+ engineer organisation.
I've recently spoken about AI SDLC solutions at We Are Developers World Congress in Berlin, TEAM in Anaheim and Team on Tour in Hong Kong. Over a 15+ year career I've worked in startups, small companies and large enterprises. I've seen the challenges at each stage of growth, and I'm applying that to help you scale AI adoption.
